How does it decide the order of my photos?
By default, photos are sorted by EXIF capture time — the exact moment your iPhone shutter fired. You can also switch to Manual sort and drag photos into any order you prefer.
Can it recover my original IMG_#### numbers?
No. The original camera roll number (e.g. IMG_3847) is stored in the Photos app database, not inside the image file itself. Img Name Fixer creates a fresh clean sequence starting from a number you choose.
