Payment & Unlock Issues
I paid but my unlock didn't activate.
After payment, Stripe redirects you to our confirmation page which automatically unlocks your browser. If that page didn't load, or you closed it before it finished:
- Check your email for a Stripe receipt — it confirms your payment went through.
- Email support@imgnamefixer.com with your receipt attached.
- We'll send you the unlock code to enter manually.
I lost my unlock code.
Email support@imgnamefixer.com with your original Stripe receipt and we'll provide the code again. No additional charge.
My unlock disappeared after I cleared my browser.
Unlock status is stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing browser data, switching browsers, or using a private/incognito window will remove it. Re-enter your unlock code using the "Already unlocked Pro? Enter your code" button on the main page. If you've lost the code, contact support with your receipt.
Frequently Asked Questions
Some photos don't show a capture date.
Not all photos include EXIF metadata — screenshots and images shared via messaging apps often don't. Those photos are sorted by file date instead. Switch to Manual sort to drag them into the position you want.
HEIC files don't show a preview thumbnail.
Most desktop browsers can't render HEIC images. The file will still be renamed correctly and included in your downloaded ZIP.
Will this recover my original iPhone filenames?
No — this tool creates new sequential names based on capture time or sort order (e.g. IMG_0047.jpg, IMG_0048.jpg). It does not restore the exact filenames your iPhone originally assigned.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens in your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
Quick Instructions
- Tap Select Photos to pick photos from your Camera Roll or Files app.
- Choose a sort order — Capture Time works best for most iPhone shoots.
- Set your prefix and starting number if needed.
- Review the renamed filenames in the preview list.
- Tap Download ZIP.
